Forgotten Daughter

A girl and her father
an unbreakable bond
they relied in eachother
him and his daughter

The father was a pretty good guy
he payed all the bills
he loved his young daughter
and he helped her get by

one day she was alone outside
for he had went to work
she thought of her mother
then she sat down on the concrete and cried

her mother had been gone for a long long time
in the clouds with some kind of god
the daughter had never believed in those things
but she didn't think it was a crime

While her head was down
a faceless man came up and snached her away
she cried and she screamed
but then she was silent and her voise was drown

She awoke in a van with the stench of slaughter
she saw the man and a pond up ahead
he screamed at her "Athiest" before he jumped out of the van
and then she was plunged into dark cold water

She screamed for her father as the water closed in
the windows were open and the water came faster
she finally gave up
she drowned for her 'sin'

her ghost wandered the earth and it never left
because her father never looked for her
he was worried and posted a missing child report
but that's it nothing else was done.

For he had just adopted her
a new older sister
he loved her even more
then he had loved his forgotten daughter


i didn't want the last two stanzas to rhyme but the rhyme scheme is ABBA
